The Eland-90 is a 4×4 light armored car that was designed and manufactured by the South African defense company, Reumech OMC.
It was first introduced in 1975 and was widely used by the South African military during the apartheid era.
The Eland-90 was specifically designed for reconnaissance and surveillance missions, as well as for fire support and anti-tank roles.
It was armed with a 90mm cannon, which was capable of firing a variety of shells, including high explosive and anti-tank rounds.
The vehicle had a crew of three and was powered by a diesel engine, which gave it a top speed of around 100 km/h.
It was also equipped with a range of advanced features for its time, including a sophisticated fire control system and advanced optics for improved situational awareness.
Due to its reliability and versatility, the Eland-90 was exported to several countries around the world, including Saudi Arabia, Cameroon, and Zimbabwe.
While it is no longer in production, the Eland-90 remains in service with some militaries and is still considered a capable and effective armored vehicle.
