The McLaren MP4/2C is a Formula One racing car that was designed by John Barnard and built by McLaren for the 1986 season.
It was an updated version of the highly successful MP4/2, which had won both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships in 1984 and 1985.
The MP4/2C featured several improvements, including a redesigned fuel system and suspension, as well as a new gearbox and larger rear wing.
The car was driven by Alain Prost and Keke Rosberg, and helped Prost win his second drivers’ championship in 1986.
Overall, the MP4/2C is considered one of the greatest Formula One cars of all time, and its success helped establish McLaren as one of the sport’s leading teams.
